He was responsible for the Kindertranpsort and you can read more about that here. I met a woman who was rescued by Nicholas Winton, she came to speak to my Year 6 class many years ago. She had a very interesting life story to tell. She never saw her family again after leaving Germany but she lived a long life and interesting life in England.
