DID DAD SAY AS DAD DID?

Did you notice that the subject was a palindrome? Read it backwards....it reads the same. See?
How about:
A nut for a jar of tuna
See, another palindrome; it reads the same forwards and backwards.
This is a true story. There was girl in my form at secondary school called Hannah Retter. Do you know what was special about her names?  They were both palindromes - her first and second name  read the same going forwards as backwards.
Her brother and sister had palindromic names too.
There was
EVE RETTER (elder sister)
and
BOB (Robert) RETTER (younger brother).
I always thought their parents were quite clever to come up with those names.

Here's a task for you. All the answers a one word palindromes and the dashes show you how many letters the answer is.
1. You see with it.  _ _ _
2. Twelve o'clock midday _ _ _ _
3. Another word for a joke _ _ _
4. You tie one around a baby's neck at mealtime _ _ _
5. A mother _  _ _
6. Flat or even _ _ _ _ _

Post your answer in the comments and see if you can come up with any palindromic phrases or words to share with us. Answers on Monday.
