Blue-Footed Booby

This at these two with their incredible feet!!!

They are blue-footed boobies and are my 'Amazing Animal of the Day'.

Here are some facts I learned about the blue footed booby.

Fact 1 - They can be found on the Galapagos Islands (which we looked up when we were learning about Darwin and where he studied the Galapagos finches and decided on his theory of Natural Selection)

We did this experiment....

Fact 2 - The more blue a blue-footed booby's feet, the healthier the blue-footed booby is.

Fact 3 - Blue-footed boobies are expert hunters and their diet is fish they dive into the sea to catch.

Fact 4 - In the wild, they live up to 17 years old.
