Coins Conundrum

Maths Problem of the Day
Earlier in the year we learned how to describe a circle. Do you remember what the circumference, diameter and radius are? If not, click here  ------> Quiff and Boot do circles.
Can you try this problem and post your answer? We'll post the answer tomorrow.

    Did you have a go at this?
    We worked out the answer like this.
    24.5x4=98
    18x5=90
    98-90=8
    therefore b=8mm
